This week, we started our winter benchmark testing. You may hear your student talking about the Star test; this is the benchmark test. This test helps students and teachers monitor progress in both math and reading.
We use these scores to determine how to support students’ growth. Students receive in-class and sometimes intensive support from our reading and math specialists during Warrior Time. These times allow us to help support students with skills gaps to meet the reading and math standards from the state.
