Allison Roberts, daughter of Jeremy and Carrie Roberts, has been selected as the Winter High School Student of the Month for December 2024!
Allie is a senior this year who plans to attend a four-year college to study biology with the goal to continue on to dental school. She is a hard worker at the top of her class who always has a good attitude and is willing to try any activity. Additionally, she is always willing to lend a helping hand to any teacher and even to other students.
As a High Schooler, Allie participates in Varsity volleyball, Quiz Bowl, science internship and the Lakeland Honors Society. This year she is a service student in the third grade classroom and participates in the Youth Apprenticeship Program. Allie works in the community as a cook, cleaner and babysitter and still holds the title as the Winter Area July Jubilee Queen.
Mrs. Lueloff, Winter School District’s Business Education teacher says, “Allie has been such a positive influence in our building. She has not been my student this year, unfortunately, but is still a light in my day. She offers to help me, even when in no way it benefits her. I truly can't recall a time she was not enthusiastic to offer her assistance.” The director of the local Project Northwoods Nature Center speaks very highly of Allie, stating, “When Allie ran for Queen of the July Jubilee she turned her ticket sales into a very generous donation for the Nature Center. This greatly helped our project and was such a kind and selfless gesture.”
Congratulations to Allie for earning Student of the Month for December 2024!
